New York Wedding Photography's premier photographer Susan Farley creates outstanding artistic and honest photographs, transforming Brides and grooms into stars and locations into artistic backdrops. Susan photographs weddings in a creative photojournalistic style for clients who want the beauty, feel and story-telling images she is well-known for in the editorial world. Wedding coverage includes Susan Farley as the primary photpgrapher with an asssistant/second photographer helping with coverage. Susan also works on assignment for many editorial, corporate, commercial and private clients throughout the NYC tri-state area. As a photogjournalist Susan has worked as a staff photographer for NY Newsday in NYC, staff photographer/editor for Agence France Presse in Washington D.C., as a NYC-based temporary staff photographer for The New York Times and as a staff photographer for The NY Journal News in Westchester County, NY. Her editiorial work has been published in People Magazine, Teen People, USA Today, The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, The National Post, The Ottawa Citizen, Newsweek, Figure Magazine and GQ. She has also done projects for MTV and Fox Family Networks. Two time winner of the Newswomen’s Club of NY Front Page Award for both feature and news photography, Susan Farley has also won several awards from the New York Press Photographers Association, including a “Best of Show.” The National Press Photographers Association, the Press Club of Long Island and The Associated Press have also recognized and awarded her work. Susan is an active member of ASMP (Amercian Society of Media Photographers), EP (Editorial Photographers) , APA (Advertising Photographers of America) and NYPPA (New York Press Photographers Association.)
